a picture of cj people who went to a certain meeting on a certain day. taken as 2 t630 pictures and put together (very very lousi-ly) using adobe. from left: puaylin, chujie, benho, victor, shijie, aaron, siong guan, benedict, matthew (just outside the picture). i don't think they knew i took it. and its VERY obvious where i put the two pictures together- mininum attempt in trying to blend the two pictures.

note: the following are all my own opinions which maybe correct. and maybe wrong. i am not the smartest. no where near there either.

water bap
water baptism today [or rather yesterday]. 3 strong men of God came up from the water: elijah, david and moses. and man, those 3 are strong men of God. some may say the 3 most notable men from the old testament: 2 even appeared to peter james and john in the transfiguration, while the last wrote the longest book in the bible and was a great king. so congrats to the 3 of you man. you 3 are really going big in this world.

the 3rd question asked: are you willing to live a new life for Jesus, and lay down your life for Him until the day you die or until Jesus returns? (well, sth to that extent) i'm reminded that i myself have made that decision. and reminded of those who didn't keep it. what's a sacrifice of one's own belief compared to the sacrifice of his entire life? its seems easy if you think it as an abstract, complex theological theory "laying down your life for the kingdom". but put simply, "die. sacrifice all interests. thoughts. actions." doesn't it sound different? i wish that when i come to the crossroad, i'd think of all this, and all the covenants i've made with brothers and sisters in christ.

leaving on a jetplane
separation. departure. farewell. parting.
reunion. rapprochement. encounter. affair.
once again. the room would be all for myself. i tell myself its going to be just like before. that i've been through this before. who am i kidding. its half a world away.
the joy of reunion exceeds the gloom of separation.
the joy of reunion exceeds the gloom of separation.
the joy of reunion exceeds the gloom of separation.
